It was a year of wildlife for me as a photographer. I had some unexpected wild encounters with the most elusive predator, snow leopard and other iconic mammals and birds. As everyone knows that this year is the most challenging time due to pandemic, so we have the only choice to travel locally in a very limited time and destinations. And the wildlife photography requires enormous patience, excellent timing and great luck which make it the most challenging game too. From the beginning of the year, my wildlife photography adventures had started with challenges and lucky moments, in western region of Mongolia and the other expeditions had followed.

Here I would love to show the beauty of wild animals in realistic and artistic ways. I really appreciate the partners and local friends who helped me to reach the extremely remote places, to observe magnificent rare animals and birds, to capture all of these stunning images that you are seeing. Wild Mongolia 2020 Images would help you to discover Mongolia's wild side.

The white-naped crane (Antigone vipio)

Mongolia is one of the most important breeding habitats for White-naped cranes. It is one of the 7 species of cranes registered in Mongolia.

The Siberian crane (Leucogeranus leucogeranus)

A very rare species that migrates through our country. There are only about 3,500 Siberian cranes on our planet.

The snow leopard (Panthera uncia)

The Photography Book Project

These are the best images, taken in 2020. And the other carefully selected wildlife images which are taken in my past several years, will be presented on my "Snow Leopard" photography coffee-table-book. I am currently working on this photography book project and the book will be published in March.
